Our Story.  Most people are able to bake a cake or a batch of cupcakes.  However, once the treats are removed from the oven, some people have the skills and tools that enable them to create pieces of art while others are resigned to slopping on a can of frosting.

By providing its customers with instructions, how-tos, beautiful photographs, and classes, Fancy Flours is working to inspire creativity in every baker.  As owner Nancy Quist will tell people, the secret is not in the baking of the cake but, rather, how it’s decorated.  As a result, Fancy Flours specializes in unique, hard-to-find ingredients and decorations that will make anyone’s creation special.

Perhaps one of Fancy Flours most unique products is its collection of vintage wedding cake toppers, which date back to the 1920s.  Other unique toppers include ethnic and French toppers.  Popular products also include silver dragees, more than 1,000 cookie cutter designs, chocolate transfer sheets, and charming sugar whimsies.

Since opening in 2003, Fancy Flours has served over 6,000 customers from the United States, Europe, Japan, Central America, and Mexico on its website alone.
